Whilst activist and US fundraiser Dan Pallotta is a little controversial in being gay and a father of triplets, and because of some of the charities that he has raised the profile of, this TED video is a really interesting challenge of thinking.

It also neatly ties in to the questions that many of our major philanthropic bodies are asking themselves about the level of change and social impact they are achieving with their funding which is starting to modify who and how they will fund.  Click here to view video:
