Hayes Knight team member Vanessa Graham will be taking part in the Oxfam 100km Trailwalker in March 2020, an event where teams of four start, stay and finish together, walking across 100km of breath-taking Whakatāne terrain. A key feature of the event is that it’s not a relay. As a team, they will support each other every step of the way as they raise vital funds for Oxfam’s development work in the Pacific.
The Oxfam Trailwalker was originally set up by the elite Queen’s Gurkha Signals Regiment in 1981 as a military exercise to test teamwork, endurance and determination. It is now part of an international series, raising more than $190 million globally.
Hayes Knight is proud to be supporting Vanessa and her team mates as they walk through the night to cover 100km of native forest, bush tracks, farmland, beaches, roads and footpaths of the Eastern Cost of the North Island.
